Privacy policy
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, no email address. The app never asks who you are.
- Your progress stays on your device. We don't run a server for the app, and the app sends us nothing.
- The free version shows ads from Google (AdMob). Google's ad software collects device and usage data to show and measure ads. Where the law requires consent (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), you choose before any ad loads.
- The app never asks to track you, so it never gets your device's advertising identifier, and it turns off Google's publisher first-party ID.
- Purchases go through Apple. Game Center, if you use it, is Apple's.
- No analytics, no crash-reporting tools and no telemetry of our own.
Who we are
Accept All is made by Hlib Pavliuchenko, an individual developer, who is responsible for the app and this website and is called "we" in this policy. It covers the Accept All app for iPhone and iPad and this website, playacceptall.com. For questions, see Contact.
What stays on your device
The app saves your game in its own storage on your device:
- your progress: quests, the endings and legendary cards you've found, past runs, daily results, your streak and best score;
- the run in progress, so you can pick it up later;
- your settings, such as sound, music, haptics and reminders;
- your usage meter and any extra usage you bought;
- when you last saw an ad, so ads stay a few minutes apart.
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else, and it isn't synced between your devices. If you back up your device with iCloud Backup or to a computer, the backup includes it; Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy.
Ads from Google
The free version is paid for by ads: a short ad when you leave a finished run, spaced a few minutes apart, and optional ads you choose to watch for help in a run or for more usage. They come from Google AdMob, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform, which are built into the app.
According to Google's disclosures for the versions in the app, Google may collect:
- your IP address, and an approximate location worked out from it;
- device identifiers limited to this app or its developer (not your advertising identifier; see No tracking prompt);
- information about the ads you see, and how you interact with them and with the app, such as app launches and taps;
- performance, crash and diagnostic data about its software.
Google uses this to show ads, limit how often you see the same one, measure them, prevent fraud, and for analytics, under its own policies. It may process the data in other countries, including the United States. Google is responsible for its own processing: see the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Pro and Yesbot Max remove the ads between runs. Google's software stays in the app either way: the consent check below still runs when the app starts, and any optional ad you choose to watch still comes from Google.
Consent and your ad choices
Each time the app starts, it asks Google's User Messaging Platform whether consent is needed where you are. That request goes to Google.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form appears on the home screen after your first run, before any ad. Until you answer, no ads load and Google's ad SDK doesn't start. If you don't consent, Google may still show ads that aren't personalized, as its policies allow.
- To change your choice later, open Settings (the gear on the Play tab) and tap Privacy choices (ads). This row appears where privacy laws require a way to change your choice, such as in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and some US states.
- Your choice is stored on your device by Google's software, until you change it or delete the app.
No tracking prompt
The app never asks for permission to track you (Apple's App Tracking Transparency). Without that permission, iOS doesn't give the app, or Google's software inside it, your device's advertising identifier. The app also turns off Google's publisher first-party ID, an identifier Google could otherwise keep in the app to tailor ads using data from the same developer's apps. We don't combine data from the app with other companies' data to target ads, and we don't sell your data.
Purchases
Purchases such as Pro, extra usage, Yesbot Max and tips go through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your name, your Apple Account or your payment details. The app checks on your device which purchases your Apple Account owns, to unlock what you bought, and Restore Purchases asks the App Store for the same list. There's no account with us and no third-party purchase service. Apple's Privacy Policy covers what Apple collects.
Game Center
Game Center is optional. If you're signed in, the app sends your daily scores, your achievements and your progress in the daily activity and challenge to Apple's Game Center, under your Game Center profile. Other players may see your nickname and scores, depending on your Game Center settings. Game Center is Apple's service: see Game Center & Privacy. You can sign out, or change what you share, in the Settings app under Game Center. We don't copy any of it to a server of our own.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, the app can remind you when the daily is up, a run is waiting or your usage resets. The app schedules these reminders on your device, at times it works out on your device from when you usually play. They don't come through a push service, and nothing about them leaves your device. Each reminder has its own switch in Settings, and you can turn them all off in the Settings app under Notifications.
Sharing and Photos
When you share a run, the app makes an image and a short text and hands them to the iOS share sheet. They go only where you send them. Saving the image to Photos asks for permission to add photos; the app can't see your photo library.
What the app doesn't do
- No account, sign-in or email collection.
- No analytics, crash-reporting or telemetry service of our own, and no servers of our own.
- No requests to use your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo library (apart from adding a shared image when you ask). Google's approximate location comes from your IP address, as described under Ads from Google.
- No downloaded game content: everything, the daily included, is built into the app, and the daily is picked from the date.
- No iCloud sync.
What reaches us
Nothing from the app that identifies you. What we do see:
- totals from Google AdMob, such as how many ads were shown and what they earned;
- totals from Apple, such as downloads and sales, and crash reports and usage statistics if you've turned on Share With App Developers in the Settings app (Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements). Apple doesn't tell us who they come from;
- if you email us, your email address and what you write, which we use only to reply.
This website
playacceptall.com is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and has no analytics, trackers, ads or scripts. Like any website, our web host receives the technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.
Children
Accept All isn't directed at children, and its ads can be rated up to Google's "mature audiences" level. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and we don't collect any from the app ourselves. If you think a child has used the app and you have a question about their data, contact us.
How long data is kept
- On your device: until you delete the app, and in your device backups until those are replaced.
- Purchases: your Apple Account keeps them, so Restore Purchases brings back Pro and Yesbot Max after a reinstall. Unused extra usage is part of the data on your device and isn't restored.
- Google: under Google's own retention policies.
- Us: nothing from the app. Emails you send us are kept as long as we need them to help you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or state privacy laws in the US), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or limit how it's used, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data for targeted advertising. Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, ads that use personal data rely on the choice you make in Google's consent form.
- Ads: use Privacy choices (ads) in Settings where it appears, or Google's own controls.
- Data on your device: it's yours; deleting the app deletes it.
- Anything else: contact us. We don't hold data from the app, so there's usually nothing for us to look up, but we'll answer and point you to the right place.
- You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We don't sell personal information. Some US state laws may count Google's use of ad data as "selling" or "sharing"; where they apply, Privacy choices (ads) lets you opt out.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the app collects, we'll update this page and its effective date before the app version with the change is released. For example, if a future version sends anonymous gameplay statistics, or downloads daily content from this website, this policy will say so first.
